Test Datasets

We provide the following test datasets to benchmark sharp wave detection algorithms

Adults rats recordings during exploration

Description: Extracellular recordings from freely-behaving adult (age: 6 months) long evans rats during exploration.
Regions: Hippocampus CA1, Prefrontal Cortex and Parietal Cortex
Technique: Tetrodes and Electrocorticogram (ECOG) recordings with Electromyogram (EMG) from neck muscles

Developmental sleep recordings

Description: Extracellular recordings from freely-behaving rat pups (age: P12-P40) during sleep.
Regions: Hippocampus CA1, Prefrontal Cortex and Parietal Cortex
Technique: Tetrodes and Electrocorticogram (ECOG) recordings with Electromyogram (EMG) from neck muscles
